| US ROUGHNECKS - Twenty bucks and two black eyes (CD Hellcat Records 2004) Aggressive and sometimes fast with a rough sound, but what else to expect when the name are US ROUGHNECKS. The singer has got an nice, evil voice that reminds me of old school HC, suddenly Roughneck Noise appears and in my ears and it sounds like old British melodic Oi! from the early 80:s mixed with some HC, really great Sacto´s alright and Skinhead blues are cool surprises to. With an attitude of fuck the police and streetfights skins and some streetpunks should be feeling comfortable with this cd. The only thing I have to complain about is that it sound to American, meaning that they seems to try a little bit to much. But in fact it's a good Oi!/Streetpunk record with R`N´R tunes. |
