| TROUBLEMAKERS - Erektion (Ägg tapes & Records 1997) Great guitar based punk with a lot of Rock`n`Roll in it, sometimes it tends to be a little metal in the guitars. I would like to call the music bikerrock, or bikerpunk feels more correct. A good record with often no speed limits and no brakes on. It's 14 songs with the Swedish cult punk band, and as usual Blomgren and the lads has made it again. The lyrics are in Swedish with lot of catch and no fussing around just pure Rock`n`Roll. Some of the songs I have to mention, 1:st one out "Grogg och parabol" is one favourite r´n´r punk with catchy lyrics, "Dom är efter mig" (It means something like" They're after me") full speed, you can almost sense the feeling of being hunted down the road and of course the new version of "Ronka" an old Swedish punk classical from one of Blomgrens earlier bands called Perverts. The original has always been a personal favourite and this one's aint so bad either. |
