TILT - Collect ‘em all (Fat wreck chords 1998)

TILT – Collect ‘em all (Fat wreck chords 1998) This is the 3:rd record from this 4 piece Frisco band. Nearly the same music as before, I like to say that it is in the same style as Bad Religion and those bands and with a great female vocalist. This record is a bit more aggressive and the songs has got a little more speed. More of the rawpunk attitude on this one and with the same lovely hoarse vocals, almost without the coral singing that was a little bit to much before. Earlier stuff I have heard with TILT has been more than ok, but this one has grown to the better and completely suits my taste. It’s hard to pick any favourites among this 15 songs because to many are good. “Palm tree” hardhitting lovely old school punkrock gunpowder, with a great word spitting refrain. “Old skool pig” cool answering corals, the whole song is pretty and what I think an absolute partysong.
